Navin Sidhu graduated from the University of Alberta in 2009 from the Civil-Environmental Engineering Co-op program. Upon graduation, she accepted a position with EPCOR Water. After numerous years in hydraulics, Navin moved to a position in Projects where she worked in developing EPCOR’s Asset Management Office.

Following the birth of their children, Navin, and her husband Danny, made the decision for her to stay home to raise their family. During this period, Navin studied to obtain an Interior Design Diploma and ventured into entrepreneurship, opening her own Interior Design firm, FabHab Interiors. As the founder of FabHab Interiors and Consulting, Navin’s passion for design inspires her to curate spaces that live at the intersection of function and beauty. It’s here where FabHab defines its mission: functional and accessible design without compromising aesthetic that ultimately allows clients to live their best lives.

In addition to her creative inclinations, Navin’s ability to plan and execute design projects sets her apart. Her work spans a variety of projects including commercial works, new home builds and infills, renovations, and redesigning existing homes. Navin’s design talents range in depth and diversity from in-home consultations, sourcing and styling, colour and material board creation, floorplan design/review and layout, and project management. She also works to activate the design and construction community with various collaborations and committee positions on Edmonton Design Week and the Canadian Home Builders Association.

After years of owning and operating her own business, Navin was approached by Alair Homes for a unique opportunity in the construction industry as Partner. She continues to operate in this role where she can combine her unique multi-disciplinary backgrounds from Engineering, Design, and Construction.
